A 1967 watercolor and ink painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed and dated to the lower left, the painting has with a note that reads "Pike Nat’l Forest” and “Colorado 7 11 67" to the lower left. The painting depicts an abstracted landscape in layers of green, blue, purple, and yellow. The painting is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
