A 1960s watercolor by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the lower left, this colorful work depicts an abstract still life with bottles and fruit arranged amidst patches of various designs. The painting is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
