An acrylic and charcoal on canvas by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the lower right and dated 1980, this abstract work features a landscape composed of biomorphic shapes in red, yellow, and orange. Each shape in the landscape is painted in acrylic and outlined with charcoal. The painting is displayed in a black frame.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
