Harry Hilson Signed 1984 Abstract Mixed Media Painting

A 1984 mixed media painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This painting features an abstract composition of  orange, blue, green, and pink stripes and a smattering of circles. The piece is framed in a black frame with a white mat and is signed and dated in the lower right corner. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
