An artist's proof intaglio print by the Canadian artist Arnold Edward Shives (born 1943). Titled Artist in Studio, this abstract work depicts a man, possibly Shives himself, sitting in a studio with paper in hand and a painting on the wall. Signed and dated 1989 to the lower right,  the print is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame and a cream mat. The print is also titled to the lower center and marked "A.P." for artist's proof to the lower left, as well as numbered III/III to the lower left.

13.75” x 13.75” x 1” (frame); 7.75” x 7” (plate).
