A limited edition Op Art aquatint print by the Peruvian artist Carlos Dávila (born 1935). Titled Eclipse II, this vibrant work features a vertical row of circles in a rainbow of color. Faded black to white flanks the central row of circles. Signed to the lower right, the print is numbered 63/75 and titled lower left. The print is unframed.
Born in Lima, Peru, Dávila received his graduate degree from the La Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in Lima. He later immigrated to the United States where he attended the Pratt Graphic Center as well as the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. Dávila has exhibited throughout the United States, South America, and Europe.
