Claude Weisbuch Signed Limited Edition Abstract Etching

A limited edition abstract etching by the French artist Claude Weisbuch (1927–2014). Two opera singers stand on the edge of a stage in this abstract etching. Signed to the lower right, the print is numbered 27/200 to the lower left and is displayed in a brown and white double mat and a gold tone and black wooden frame.

Claude Weisbuch studied at the Beaux-arts de Nancy in France. He is best known for his detailed line drawings and etchings depicting musicians, horses, and live performances. His work can be found in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
