A 1969 embossed woodblock print by Japanese artist Haku Maki (1924-2000). Titled Dance 69-2, the background of the print is black in color with a red kanji-inspired shape to the left of the composition. The work is displayed in a black frame behind a cream mat and is signed, titled and numbered 59/105 to the lower edge.

Haku Maki was a prolific Japanese artist of the 20th century. His birth name was Maejima Tadaaki but he selected the name Haku Maki in the late 1950s to go by. Many museums have Maki's work in their collections including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Portland Art Museum, Cincinnati Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Art Museum.
