A 1963 abstract relief aquatint print titled Resurrection by the American artist Joan Farrar. Black abstract designs are layered to create an intricate, textural composition in this bold work. Signed, dated, titled, and denoted as an Artist's Proof along the bottom edge, the work is displayed in a gold-tone wooden frame behind a white mat. 

Joan Farrar is an American painter and printmaker. Farrar worked for Tanglewood Press as a printmaker, working in conjunction with the Leo Castelli Gallery and printing pieces by Jasper Johns, Tom Wesselmann, and Angelo Savelli. Farrar's prints are in numerous museums including the Art Institute of Chicago.
