A lithograph print by the American artist Joan Farrar. Titled Tempest in the Wilderness, this abstract work depicts a brush-filled landscape with grass, branches, and shrubbery merging into a mass of energy. Signed to the lower right, the print is titled to the lower center and displayed in a black frame and a white mat.

Joan Farrar is an American painter and printmaker. Farrar worked for Tanglewood Press as a printmaker, working in conjunction with the Leo Castelli Gallery and printing pieces by Jasper Johns, Tom Wesselmann, and Angelo Savelli. Farrar's prints are in numerous museums including the Art Institute of Chicago.
