A West German jug or vase produced by Carstens Tönnieshof. This mid-century vase features the Carstens "Prehistoric" design. The body of this vase is black and has a red frieze running around its middle. The frieze features horses and an abstract design along the borders. There is a small handle attached to the neck. It is marked “158-30 W. Germany” to the underside.
