An etching with aquatint print by the German artist Johnny Friedlaender (1912-1992). Titled October - Color State II, this print depicts a monochrome abstract composition which resembles an abstracted landscape with black and cream shapes. The piece is displayed in a black frame with a white mat and is signed in the bottom right as well as numbered 5/25 to the lower left. There is some buckling to the paper.

Johnny Friedlaender was born in Poland in 1912. He taught etching in a Paris gallery while traveling internationally. His work has been exhibited worldwide, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, and the United States.
