Michel Ducaroy Ligne Roset “Togo” Burgundy Loveseat Sofa

A Togo loveseat designed by the French designer Michel Ducaroy (1925-2009) for Ligne Roset. This iconic sofa is upholstered in burgundy alcantara fabric and is marked with a Ligne Roset tag along the back.

Born into a family of designers, Michel Ducaroy eventually found an interest in designing furniture himself. In 1952 he became an independent designer after studying at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Lyon and learning under the family business. In 1954 Ducaroy came in contact with the Ligne Roset company designing all foam chairs and quickly became one of Ligne Roset's most integral designers.
