A 1974 drypoint etching with pochoir titled, Le Corbeau et le Renard (The Raven and the Fox), by Spanish artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989). Printed on Japanese nacre paper and colored by pochoir, this composition is one of twelve original engravings from the portfolio Le Bestiaire de la Fontaine, printed by Ateliers Rigal, Paris and published by Editions des Maîtres Contemporains, Paris (Field 74-1). The whimsical scene depicts a raven perched on a branch in seeming conversation with a fox standing on a stump. Unframed, the etching is numbered and signed along the bottom edge and numbered 62/250.

22.5" W x 30.25" D (paper); 15.75" W x 22.75" H (plate).
Condition notes:
Minor wear to edges of paper. Small stain in lower margin. Discoloration to top corners from tape verso. Pieces of tape present to verso.
