ShanZuo and DaHuang Zhou Signed 1992 Limited Edition Abstract Sculpture

A 1992 limited edition abstract sculpture by Chinese-American contemporary artists ShanZuo (born 1952) and DaHuang Zhou (born 1957) who go by the moniker Zhou Brothers. Signed and dated to the bottom edge, an abstract figure balances upon a metal base posed with outstretched arms and legs in this organic work. The sculpture features a distressed finish and a rugged texture. The sculpture is numbered 4/7 to bottom edge.

ShanZuo and DaHuang Zhou, known as the Zhou brothers, studied art in China. They contributed to the contemporary art movement in China before moving to the United States in the 1980s. The Zhou brothers works are influenced by Chinese cave paintings and the Western world. Their combined efforts have gained the Zhou brothers numerous awards and praise.
