Ed Funk Monoprint of a Seated Woman

A monoprint by the American artist Ed Funk (1953-2013). This piece features a seated woman posing with her arms above her head, among a pink, green, and yellow abstract design. This piece is displayed in a silver tone metal frame against a cream mat. The print is signed to the lower right.

Ed Funk graduated from Herron School of Art and Design in 1988. In 1995, Funk purchased Dolphin Papers, an art supply store that was located in Fountain Square. Funk helped to establish First Fridays in the area and is remembered as encouraging other artists in his community, despite their skill level.
