A 1980s acrylic on paper diptych painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Hill, this vibrant abstract landscape painting depicts a colorful field with distant pink mountain in the background. Unframed, the painting is signed to the lower right of the right side of the diptych and titled to the lower left of the left side of the diptych.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
