A 1980s acrylic on paper painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Spring Landscape, this colorful work depicts an abstract landscape replete with distant verdant trees, a pale green and yellow meadow, and colorful wildflowers in the foreground. Signed to the lower right, the painting is titled to the verso and is unframed.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
