A 1968 abstract metal sculpture by American artist Joseph Burlini (born 1937). This sculpture depicts a tricycle with a whimsical array of metal springs, wheels, and other metal pieces. Colorful enamel shapes accent the sculpture throughout. The piece is signed “J. A. Burlini 68” on side of sculpture above one of the back wheels.

Joseph Burlini attended the Art Institute of Chicago and is a self-taught welder and sculptor. He is widely known for designing and creating monumental outdoor sculptures for both public and private spaces including The Pentagon, Walt Disney Studios, and Michael Jordan's home.

Rust and other wear to the metal. Chipping to the paint and enamel.
