An acrylic on canvas painting by the Venezuelan artist Angel Peña (born 1949). Titled Reclinada en la Playa (Reclining on the Beach), this abstract work depicts a tropical beach scene with woman lounging in a colorful bikini. Colorful leaves and trees surround the woman with white billowing clouds and distant mountains providing the background to the work. Signed to the lower left, the painting is also signed and titled to the verso and is displayed in a black wooden frame.

Condition notes:
Scratches and minor wear to frame. Some wear to the painting around the edges including a few small flakes in the paint. A white thin scuff in painting on the upper right edge.
