A 1990s paper collage on masonite by the American artist Anthony Louis Popcheff (1954-2003). Titled Seven Red Rules, this abstract work is round in shape and features layered rectangular pieces of paper in red, green, blue, and brown. The work is signed, titled, and dated 1993/94 to the verso. The work is unframed.
Anthony "Tony" Louis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
