A 2011 archivap c-print by the American photographer Bruce Checefsky (born 1957). Titled Allium Afatunese, this photograph depicts an allium blossom abstracted by a multitude of glitch-like edits which disrupts the image in unexpected ways. This photograph is displayed in a black metal frame and a white mat and is signed and numbered verso.
Photographer and filmmaker Bruce Checefsky was born in Pennsylvania in 1957. He received his MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art and later studied at the International Center of Photography in New York City. His work is varied and includes reimagining Easter European short films made between the 1920s and 40s. He is now the Director of the Reinberger Galleries at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
