A 1983 exhibition poster print by American artist Carl Pope (born 1961). The serigraph depicts the phrase, "The Low Life" in gray text against a black ground. The poster is numbered at the left "17/50" and is signed and dated to the lower right. 

Carl Pope was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University. He is widely known for his ongoing installation posters, "The Bad Air Smelled of Roses". Pope is devoted to creating art that stimulates individual and collective metamorphosis.
