A 1975 gray, black and white abstract linocut by the Canadian artist Arnold Edward Shives (born 1943). Titled Perilous Snow, the linocut depicts a simple outline of an avalanche. The linocut is signed “A. Shives July 1975”, titled, and marked “A.P. II/IV H.E.i Rd.17 1Hp" to the lower portion.
