Composed of gouache, graphite, and colored pencil on paper, distinct geometric and biomorphic shapes are illustrated in vibrant peach and accents of green, blue, orange, red, and purple in this abstract work. The painting is faintly signed “Hilson” to the lower right corner.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
