A mid-century stoneware Solfatara plate designed by the Danish ceramic artist Valdemar Petersen (1906-1981) for Bing & Grondahl. Made in Denmark, this plate features a shallow bowl and stamped abstract design to the center. The piece features a rich brown and black glaze and is marked "“B&G DENMARK" to the underside.
