A 1970s oil on canvas painting by the American artist George Joseph Moody (1920-2014). Titled Something's Happening, this abstract work depicts waves of red, black, blue, and white that come together to form and landscape-like composition. Displayed in a black wooden frame, the painting has several artist's tags verso.
After serving in World War II in the Pacific, Moody studied at the University of Illinois and the State University of Iowa. He was a public school teacher for over a decade before attending Ball State University, where he received a Doctorate of Education in Art. He went on to teach Visual Art at the University of Northern Colorado.
