A 1959 ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Ginger in my Studio, this abstract work depicts Hilson's dog, Ginger, lying next to an open suitcase. Signed, dated, and titled to the right side, this drawing is displayed in a dark blue mat and an off-white frame.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:

Scratches, scuffs, and chips to the frame. Discoloration/stains to the paper. Slight crease in the paper to the upper left.
