Harry Hilson Signed 1960 Abstract Ink Drawing


A 1960 ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the lower center, this abstract work features an array of layered biomorphic shapes. Signed to the lower center and dated to the lower left, the drawing is displayed in a white frame and a white mat. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
