A 1960 blue ink portrait drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts a woman with short hair seated amidst rectangular shapes. Signed to the lower left, the drawing is dated to the lower right and displayed in a black frame and a white mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
