Harry Hilson Signed 1960s Abstract Ink Drawing


A 1960s ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts an array of wedge shapes floating against a cross-hatched background. Signed to the lower edge, the drawing is displayed in a wooden frame and a cream mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.

Condition notes:

Scratches, scuffs, and other wear to the frame. The gold accents of the frame don’t meet at the corners. Other age appropriate wear.
