A 1960s abstract watercolor painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This painting has a colorful composition that combines bursts of watercolor in blue, red, orange, yellow, black, and green that are outlined in black ink. Signed "hilson" to the lower right, the work is displayed in a green and brown wooden frame and behind a cream mat. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
