A 1961 ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Stage Set for the Last Act, this abstract drawing depicts two figures on a stage with a sunset behind them. Signed, titled, and dated to the lower right, the drawing is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
