A 1969 watercolor painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This watercolor painting consists of two brown abstract shapes which fit together like puzzle pieces and dominate the center of the composition. Signed to the upper left corner and dated in the lower right, the painting is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
