Harry Hilson Signed 1973 Structure Series Artist’s Proof Serigraph


A 1973 limited edition abstract serigraph by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). The work has a bright yellow background color with an abstract brown shape at the left and a green block of color to the right of the composition. The serigraph is signed "Hilson 11/73," marked "SS43" for Structure Series #43, and "artist proof" along the bottom edge. The print is unframed.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:

Minor foxing to paper. One discolored spot in upper right margin. Other wear around the edges of the paper.
