Harry Hilson Signed 1990s “Cow Talk” Abstract Acrylic Painting

A 1990s signed abstract acrylic painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Cow Talk, this piece explores Hilson's continuously developing style. A realistic looking cow skull is central to this scene with a gray background and red and pink stenciling spelling out the words "COW" and "TALK." The rest of the composition serves as a border to this scene, with repeated patterns and colors creating four distinct outlines. Signed to the bottom right corner.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
