Joan Miró 1961 Lithograph from “Miró: 1959-1960”


A color lithograph print after a work by Spanish modern artist Joan Miró (1893-1983) pulled from Miró 1959-1960 and published in an edition of 1200 by Pierre Matisse Gallery. Printed by Daniel Jacomet in 1961, this lithograph depicts an array of black lines and splatter marks accents with a red and blue at two corners. The work is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat.



28.25” x 16.5” x 1” (frame); 17.75” x 11.75” (image).

Condition notes:

Scratches and small chips to the frame. Some toning to the paper. Centerfold crease in the lithograph.
