An etching by the American artist John Silk Deckard (1940-1994). Titled Siren's Song, this work depicts three nude female figures lying and reclining close together. Signed to the lower right, the print is numbered 23/75 to the lower left and is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Deckard studied with Joseph Plavcan before attending the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He later studied at Edinboro State College, as well as Carnegie Mellon University. His works have been exhibited at the Whitney Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Brooklyn Museum, among others.
