A Design rollerball pen with design by the American designer Jon Otis for Acme. This pen features a silver repeated text design that reads "you are what you design" and is marked "ACME" to the clip and marked with a "John Otis" signature around the band on the pen. The pen includes its original case.
Jon Otis earned his Masters degree in interior design and architectural studies in 1915 from the University of Massachusetts. During his studies, he earned a Fulbright scholarship to Milan, where he joined an industrial design firm, Studio De pas D'Urbino Lomazzi. Today, Otis is a professor at Pratt University.
