A 1998 limited edition linocut titled Shower Poster by American artist Jonathan Weinberg (b. 1957). This brightly colored piece says "JONATHAN WEINBERG" across the top of the composition and "CORTLAND JESSUP GALLERY" across the bottom in yellow lettering and an orange border. Blue, orange, and green tiling is depicted with yellow, orange, and green showers lining the walls. Signed and dated to the lower right corner, titled bottom middle, and numbered "3/10" to the lower left corner, the print is displayed in a black metal frame and a white mat.
Jonathan Weinberg is an artist based out of New York City. He attended Harvard University and Yale University. Weinberg is currently an art critic at Yale, as well as a practicing artist and art historian. Awarded highly, Weinberg has received the Guggenheim Fellowship for Humanities in both the US and Canada.
