A 1978 mezzotint print, titled 107th Landscape, by the Japanese artist Kazuhisa Honda (born 1948). This piece depicts dark green stems with thorns growing twisted and knotted together. Unframed, this piece is signed, dated, titled, and numbered 11/35 lower edge.
Born in Japan, Honda studied at the University of Osaka and in 1974, moved to Paris where he studied printmaking under Stanley Hayter at Atelier 17. Later he studied at the Pratt Graphics Center in New York as well as apprenticing under Yozo Hamuguchi.
