An etching by the Japanese artist Keiko Minami (1911-2004). This abstract work depicts a bird floating on a body of water under a crescent moon and with mountain peaks in the distance. Signed to the lower right, the print is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.

Born in Japan, Keiko Minami studied the art of children's stories with the Japanese novelist Sakie Tsuboi as well as attending the School of Fine Arts Tokyo from 1927-1929. After World War II, she moved to Paris where she studied under Johnny Friedlaender. Minami was later named a United Nations official artist.
