A serigraph print, titled Billy and Diane Miss a Beauty Oderiferous Flight Back to Indianapolis, by the American artist Mark Bulwinkle (born 1964). This piece features an abstracted scene of people inside of an airplane, and three abstracted figures standing below. The scene is decorated with polka dots and stripes in purple, blue, yellow, and brown. Unframed, this piece is signed, titled, and marked “Proof” to lower edge.

Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, Bulwinkle studied at the University of Pittsburgh as well as the San Francisco Art Institute. He learned welding while living in San Francisco and worked as an industrial welder at Bethlehem Ship Yards until he became a full time artist in the 1980s. Bulwinkle is considered part of the West Coast Funk movement, an art movement that was in reaction to abstract expressionism and its non-objectivity.
