A limited edition lithograph print by the American artist Robert Eagerton (born 1940). Tilted 211, this work depicts a nude female figure kneeling a bright yellow and black undulating design with organic shapes. Signed, titled, and numbered 10/70 to the lower edge, the print is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat.
Born in South Carolina in 1940, Eagerton received his BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in Atlanta, Georgia in painting and printmaking with additional studies in Vienna, France, Austria and graduate studies at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan in printmaking. He opened Transfigurations Press in Sarasota, Florida in the 60s with several others and taught at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis from 1965 to 2005. He is Professor Emeritus of the Herron School of Art and Design and Honorary Professor at Hunan Normal University in Changsha, China.
