Robert G. Andrus Abstract Wooden Sculpture


An abstract wooden sculpture by the American artist Robert G. Andrus (born 1928). This wooden sculpture is composed of two slices of wood around a central black sphere. The slices have white sides and unpainted, natural wood exteriors. The sculpture is attached to a wooden base. This sculpture is unsigned.

Robert G. Andrus studied at the University of Michigan graduating with a degree in graphic design. Later turning to sculpture as an artistic form, Andrus finds inspiration from American Folk Art.

Condition notes:

Some residue glue present to areas where pieces have been conjoined. Some other age appropriate wear to the underside.
