An ink on foil board abstract drawing titled Silver Field by American artist Stan Brod (1932-2022). Signed to the lower right of the drawing, this abstract work features repeated wave designs in black against a silver foil background on board. The drawing is titled verso and displayed in a silver tone metal frame.
Stanford "Stan" Brod graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning and later in life received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
