An abstract ink drawing by the American artist William Itter (1942-2025). This abstract work depicts an array of biomorphic designs. Unsigned, the drawing is displayed in a red metal frame and a black mat. An artist tag is attached verso.
William Itter was an artist, philanthropist, award-winning art educator and collector, who made an impact on hundreds of students during his 35-year long tenure at Indiana University. His wife, Diane Itter, was also a painter, as well as a textile artist. After her passing, he opened the William and Diane Itter Object Study at the Eskenazi Museum of Art, where he donated his collection of art and memorabilia.

Scratches to the frame. Some discoloration to the paper, mostly upper left.
