An Op Art serigraph print by French artist Yvaral Jean-Pierre Vasarely (1934-2002). This print exhibits an abstract scene made of hexagonal shapes with the two sides meeting diagonally across the print in a gradient. The piece is unframed and signed and numbered 154/200 along the bottom edge.
Jean-Pierre "Yvaral" Vasarely was an Op Art and kinetic artist, following in the footsteps of his father, artist Victor Vasarely. Yvaral attended the École des Arts Appliqués in the 1960s. He helped co-found the artist group Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel (GRAV), which included eleven French Opto-kinetic artists. The group created large installations together, including their 1963 Labyrinth, which was displayed at the third Paris Biennale.
