A bronze sculpture of a nude female figure by the Romanian artist Prince Monyo Simon Mihailescu-Nasturel (born 1926). The figure is depicted in a relaxed, reclined pose with her leg bent and arms positioned behind her as she leans forward. The work is signed "Monyo" to the lower edge.

Prince Monyo Simon Mihailescu-Nasturel is the last descendant of a line of Romanian kings. He studied mechanical engineering at Bucharest University and later received a PhD in ancient history and religion from University of Sorbonne, Paris. After moving to the United States as a political refugee, he began to study art under Rufino Tamayo. Through Tamayo's guidance, the prince perfected his sculpture making, and began a successful artistic career that continues today. His work ranges from larger-than-life metal sculptures to miniatures.
