An art glass sculpture by the American glass artist Stephen Hodder (born 1951). In blues, greens and purples, this satin glass piece features a dome-like shape with ruffled edges. The sculpture is covered in colorful and abstract geometric patterns. It is signed to its interior.
Hodder received his undergraduate degree from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. He has received numerous fellowships from Arts Midwest and the McKnight Foundation. Hodder's works are held in the collections of the Corning Museum of Glass, the American Craft Museum, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, among others.
